Not sure where Ryan got his information ...

"NFL Scouts watched on as McGuire led the pack in the 20-yard shuttle with a time of 4.56 seconds, he came in third at the 60-yard shuffle at 11.78 seconds, and he placed fifth in the three-cone drill. For running backs, those are possibly the three most important events, and McGuire put on a show."

McGuire tied for last in the 20-yard shuttle (16 RBs). He did not finish third in the 60-yard shuttle ... he finished sixth of eight RBs. He did not finish 5th in the 3-cone drill ... he tied for 11th among 16 RBs.

I don't think the combine helped him all that much. Other than face time with teams. I wouldn't be shocked if he goes undrafted.

Would that article be considered fake news?

Darrell Bevel cares not for personnel....Darrell Bevel only cares that he looks like the smartest guy holding a clipboard. The mental gymnastics he must have on how to put on his shoes everyday. I wonder if he shows up in ladies heels every once in a while. NO ONE WILL SEE THAT COMING!!

Eli could become the back Payton wanted from Spiller, a good RB/WR combo.

I believe that, but a professional evaluation sees flaws in his game.

Not trying to compare Eli to Tom Brady but look at the video of Tom Brady's evaluation coming out of Michigan...they all basically laughed at the skinny kid from up north.

I still laugh at him...and how lucky he got having Belichick as his coach. Without that...he would have to buy his own Ugg boots.

As a pure RB I'd agree, but his ability to catch passes isn't something you see from a RB very often. That alone will land him a high draft pick. If not he will be a steal for some lucky team in the late rounds.

What do you consider a "high" draft pick? I think if you're expecting Eli to go anywhere before the 4th round, you are gonna be disappointed, and I doubt he goes in the 4th.
