We have not had any significant pass plays to the tight end since Hud's first year.
The passing game that did not support Haack was vast (plays that exist in our play book). But when a bull rams his head into a steel wall... if there's too much juice pumping out of his sack... he doesn't jump over the wall... he just figures he isn't hitting the wall hard enough... and the slamming continues. If you get a rush out of head slamming... it's a hard thing to give up. And God forbid you ever break through the wall once or twice. Say goodbye to jumping over walls.
You can start by separating receivers. We have 3 receivers within 10 yards of each other.
Correct. He got hurt along the way and got back in action after a few games out. You don't have to have a Ladarius Green to use a TE in passing plays, however. That's going to be the excuse of someone on here. We also ran some atrocious routes. Haack would have "stat'd" a lot better had WRs caught the passes that were thrown straight into their mitts. Some were game busters. That set aside... the pass coaching sucked the root this year. I want them to own up to it so it gets corrected.
Cheers to my senior season!!
