17 touches for 85 yards and 2 TDs is a pretty solid day.

    Tough day

18 rushes for 41 plus 24 receiving. Jets overall didn’t compete scoring only 3 vs New England.

McGuire would be phenomenal is an Andy Reid type system.

McGuire is somewhat of a gimmick back so i agree he would excell under Reid type coach

McGuire has struggled to run between the tackles and that's what the jets were trying to do with him

He would do very well in New Orleans, St Louis, KC or New England.

McGuire isn’t any more of a gimmick back than about 50% of the backs in the NFL. There’s damned few backs that excel as complete backs. He’s a back that can catch and find holes that are there.

I think what they’re saying is he’s not on a team that will get the most of his potential. His 3 ypc vs the 4.0+ of Crowell and Powell suggest that he’s below average when used as a conventional RB.

Not sure if anyone else saw it, but Elijah made a sick one-handed catch in practice yesterday. They showed video of it on one of the morning ESPN shows, but I didn't catch (I'm not as good as the Prophet) which one.
