Jets rookie Elijah McGuire is impressing in training camp, but he almost walked away from sports after father’s death

Getting this kind of publicity this early in camp bodes well for Eli I hope! He has obviously caught the eye of several folks within the Jets organization. Time will tell of the eventual outcome.
Mcguire prolly will start in Jets' first preseason game:

Any live TV? I've set the recording for the replay on the NFL network.
There will probably be some streams on some corners of the internet if you know how to search. I think you can sign up for a free 7-day trial of NFL Game Pass then cancel afterwards if you'd rather a more legal means of watching. But if he's starting he'll probably only get a quarter or so, so I'd just wait for the replay.
6 carries for 7 yards and 1 catch for -1 yards tonight for Mcguire
I was not able to see this live but there should be a replay on NFLN this week
I missed the first series but he had a few carries in the second possession. Including a good run that was called back on holding. Didn't see him carry after the second possession. He was in on special teams a couple of times.
Either the Jets oline is bad or the Titans dline is good because none of the running backs looked good. I didnt watch much of the 2nd half. Hopefully Eli will continue to get his chances.
Ran well, blocked well. Had a couple of long down carries called back due to penalties. Was only in for their first two offensive series. Their OL had some problems blocking Titans DL and he was stopped at the LOS a few times, with no place to go. They play the Lions this Saturday night. Should be able to watch replay on NFL network. This first game replay aired at 6 this morning.
