It’s gotten so rough at the plate that this team could not squeeze into an almost empty stadium (by cajuns standards) on Sunday. Hopefully things willl start going our way soon for the hitters.

Not many people are going to stop at that line on the way in to purchase a 50/50 ticket or come down an miss game to do so. I get there at game time, get an adult beverage and up to my seats for the first pitch.

I had heard the reason was that they had not been reported yet to a gambling board. Take that for what it's worth. I hope they stay away. Pot was around $500 last night.

We have, at best, an All-Acadiana Catholic School team. NOT a team of recruits for a nationally recognized program. I don't understand why we jumped through hoops and created positions to be able to keep Talbot, so he can keep recruiting the "average" local talent. Not intended to belittle the local talent, but the occasional local stud is great (the Jace/Hogan type talent), but it should not comprise 60% of our starting lineup.
