RPI now at 79, ccu 72. Brian: how much of an impact will this weekend series have on our rpi.....whether we win or lose?

What matters is road wins AND the OWP contribution as a 19-10 team (their 72 rank doesn't matter). Would have a VERY good impact.

Would also help if St. Peters could win a game....

That's what I was hoping, but with just a 9 point diff in rpi was not sure. Thx. Now let's start with a W today.

Was checking out how our opponents have been doing...man did those Techsters implode...no wonder we haven't heard from those douchebags in weeks...on another note though, it is good to see Southern Miss doing well, that was a big series for us.

Baseball no longer matters on I-20.

Rice is very surprising as well...that 22 year regional streak is in some serious jeopardy...

That is a big surprise to me as well ... their coach is almost 200 years old; he may be looking at retirement; they may be looking to help him do it.

Slight exaggeration. He is no more than 155 or 160.

Rider at home...they are 10-15 but they did win a series against Georgia earlier this year...

I wonder what our RPI would be if we hadn't played them and beaten a non-d1 team instead on that weekend...?
If the Cajuns had not played Saint Peter's, they would have an RPI of .56318 ... good for a rank of #45 at present (vs. #70).

Given that Saint Peter's is now 0-11, a win this weekend (or a sweep) has much less effect than it would have two or three weeks ago. If Saint Peter's were to miraculously sweep Rider at home this weekend, it would bump the Cajuns' RPI to .55558 (at present) ... good for a present ranking of #60.

With the present numbers (and they will change) ... a sweep of CCU by the Cajuns would give them an RPI (at present) of .55583 ... good for a present ranking of #60.

Splitting the remaining games would result in .54753 (#66) at present. Losing the last two would result in .53894 (#77) at present.
