St. Peters lost to Niagara Friday 3-2, today 7-0 and play again at 3 PM Central. They play a decent schedule. Not holding my breath for any help from the Peacocks.

They can't make it easy, can they.

It's all horrible timing. Belt seems down this year, even after adding the defending NC team. It was there for the taking but no team has sustained consistent winning. It's not St. Peter's fault we yacked games late and failed to show in others. If anything, St. Peter's should have been a warning sign...should have double digit crush them every game. We're a one bid league this year.

Every great team gets some breaks, lucky bounces along the way. The stars have definitely not yet lined up to pave our path to glory.

June might be a different story.

I hope so. They can swing it with anybody, on any given day.

I am heading over there tomorrow morning. Will see if I can do any good. They have Saint John's (yuk) and Fordham this coming week. As for the second game today ... currently in a 1-1 tie with Niagara T4th.

If Tony doesn't find a cure for Nick Lee, it might not be. Cajuns have lost 3 Saturdays in a row.

I understand the concern over St. Peter's, but I wonder why there's no mention how the home loss to a 7-16 Tulane team is harmful.

Because there is no comparison ... the drag from Saint Peter's is massively more harmful than the home loss to 11-15 Tulane (accounting for the win over UL). And the other reason Saint Peter's continues to get mentioned is that there will be a significant adjustment to the Cajuns' RPI should they win a couple of games soon. That will fade somewhat if they keep losing.

I sent the Peacocks some throwdown from Amazon.

They should drop the "pea" in their nickname. Because that's what they keep giving us in the backside in regards to rpi
