LOL! We "ain't" LSU so that type of reasoning about mid-week games doesn't work for us.

As far as dropping 'state" from our name, when did we do that. I must have not gotten the memo. As far as I know we are McNeese State and our abbreviation is still MSU. Of course, a lot a people just call us McNeese for short but there has been no push to make that official.
