Can't answer historically, but not including the suspended SLU game, the Cajuns have left 90 on base, 43 times they left a runner in scoring position (3.07/game) and of those 43 times, they left a runner at third 25 times (1.79/game).
Of the 5 losses, the Cajuns would have won two and tied the third if they would have gotten the runners in scoring position home.
Bottom Line: Tech is peaking now. Cajuns will peak later - when it counts - just like last couple of years. Take C. Lee out of the picture and I have confidence in any of our pitchers in the right situation.
Also - I used to respect Tech as a rival. I have lost all respect for the school and their athletic department after they pulled those ignorant shinanigans with respect to our name. I get it, they don't want to call us Louisiana... Fine. Whatever. But to go off the ledge like they did - in an official capacity is mind-blowing. Who's running the place? It is one thing for fans to banter back and forth, but for an official athletic department release and PA announcer to get into the fray. UNBELIEVABLE. Even ULM respects us more than those morons in Rustonia at that technical college.
