One Vermilion Parish Police Juror wanted to know why the Vermilion Fire Protection Association (VFPA) is not willing to clean up the muddy roads caused by farmers.
At Wednesday night’s committee meeting, police juror Errol Domingues, who is a sugar cane farmer, questioned Matthew Trahan, the president of the VFPA, why volunteer firemen are no longer going to clean muddy roads after being called out by the Sheriff Department or the State Police.
Trahan had a simple answer.
