Not looking good. Not the worst weekend to have a game cancelled tho...

A loss is no better and no worse than any other home loss.

Do we have an updated first pitch time?

I'm not following then. What's a win against such a team do for us?

Scott said another lightning strike was seen. I did not hear it or see. Literally right before players were about to warm up

Only that it's better than a loss. I think the point is that simply PLAYING St. Peter's hurts us the most

This all assumes that they will be a bad RPI team. And they were downright HORRIBLE last year so that's the assumption

Because half of OUR RPI is our Opponents Winning Percentage. Since they are our opponent (1, 2, or 3 times - depending on how many games we get in this weekend), their overall record (winning percentage) will impact our RPI (along with all of our other opponents) and if they are as bad as they have been (winning only 10-11 games last 3 years), then our RPI will take a hit - just by playing them.

Why in the world did we schedule these guys then? Based on how their program has advanced, I'd rather see us do a weekend series with the necksters.
