I'm not talking about our offense as a whole. I'm talking about guys like Kasuls, Ant, Jam, Stoelke, Monica, Stover (if he can play). Also, Lott and Spears would benefit from feasting on D1 pitching, regardless of how poor it might be.

I wouldn't mind if Ant doesn't see another at bat. Not being a dick, just telling it like it is.

I get the RPI concerns, but I keep thinking of a weekend series that should feel like batting practice for us, scoring 35-45 total runs? Take that momentum into a matchup with Tech = I like that scenario. Especially if the bottom on the lineup, as mentioned, gets some real good swings in during this series.

Antchak had some very crucial hits down the stretch last year.

IMO, the biggest surprise of 2017 so far is how Kasuls has struggled. I'm serious, many thought he would break out this year. I was one of them. We need that guy to succeed this weekend, gain some confidence.

Robe mentioned at Diamond Club because Kasul's has not completely taken the reins at the SS position, Antchak is going to keep getting worked in and opportunities until someone emerges as the undisputed starter.

He batted over .400 in the fall. I talked to a player earlier this week who said they are all surprised Kasuls is not performing better, bc he was that good in the fall.

I get your point and I love anytime we play a game. Especially, when we light up teams up. However, the negative RPI effects of just taking the field against this team (based on their historical performance) may far outweigh the need for playing real games.

I'm looking at this series as more or less a way for all of the players to get on the same page. Let some of the guys struggling at the plate get some hits, and a few pitchers get some time on the mound. After we sweep this team, we can look forward to a war against Tech during the week with the big conference series opener next weekend against App State.

It'll be at least a little bit funny on here if they throw a soft tossing lefty and we have to scrape a 2-1 win out

I think I'd have a heart attack before it ends. It's baseball, anything can happen, but geeze... these games canNOT be close.
