Wanted that for Gunner..
Wanted that for Gunner..
I know I'll never be more dissapointed in a 10-0 win.
Dan said that was the kids first college AB. And it's an end of the bat bleeder to break up a no no with 2 outs in the 9th. Disgusting.
I feel for Gunner! Damn! Hell of a performance tonight Sir!
Well done Gunner. By Baton Rouge standards, that's a perfect game.
maybe if they showed some confidence in him by starting him his bat may come around I heard he was one of the top batters during the preseason. He is not striking out he is just a fraction of an inch from base hits. If they could get his bat working it could help the team when they meet some real competition.
As great as a night it was we drop freaking 23 points to now 58 in rpi!
Is it possible we get to near 100 with a sweep, come on rain!
Interesting. That raises (and I think answers) and interesting question for Brian.
Question: Does combined opponents' raw number win/loss record (multiplied by number of games played vs. that opponent) add up to calculate OWP? I.e. Since St. Peter's comes in 0-1 with loss Wednesday, they contribute 1 loss to our OWP... although that game is not even listed on warrennolan.com. I would not expect the change in Cajuns RPI ranking to be so drastic if this was the case.
OR - more likely based on this drastic shift - Since St. Peter's doesn't have a win - we now have a single game contribution by an opponent with a 0.00 WP - added in with the contribution of WP of our other 10 opponents?
Hoping the Saturday game gets rained out or St. Peter's can find a way to unexpectedly win roughly half of their games this year - but I'm not real optimistic about that.
