If he actually gets into a game it will be a dream come true for him. Also, you can sign a second 10 day contract once the first expires. After that, you either go back to the D League or are put in the roster for the remainder of the year.

He got his first points on a layup at the end of the first quarter. He also got a block on Greg Monroe and 1 rebound in about 3 minutes of playing time in the first quarter.

Found a way to watch online. Shawn playing a bit in third quarter as Sixers down a bit. Up to 7 points and 5 boards. Just got an assist as well. They just mentioned he was coached well in college. Unfortunately the name of coach they gave is someone i never heard of. Likely the coach from Lafayette. Update. He just hit a three so he has double figures now with 10 points. Great NBA debut

Im looking at the 76ers roster. How does a team purposely lose for 5 years and still have a roster that bad?

IMO, only reason a guy like Long wasn't already on the roster with his D-League play, is the 76ers have undoubtedly the worst front office and ownership in American professional sports.

Shawn finished with 13 pts and 7 boards. He was only 2 of 7 from the free throw line. Nice job in his first NBA game!
