Thread: Google Chrome Issued Flaw

  1. #1

    Default Google Chrome Issued Flaw

I just tried to login on to RaginPagin with google chrome browser and received the following warning:

    "Deceptive site ahead

Attackers on www.raginpagin.com may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards).
    "

Anyone else experience this? I have attached a screenshot showing the warning.

Turbine: are you aware of anything causing this?

I do not get the warning when using Internet Explorer, but I tend to trust Google a little more than IE.

NSA trying to decode Boomerese and use it to encrypt Russian aimed messaging for silent coup. Book it.

I got the same thing. I went to details and then clicked go to "unsafe site anyway". Because I'm not dumb enough to be duped into anything from our own message board that I visit daily.

    Very odd though.

I had the same warning the first time I logged in this morning on Firefox.

Did that as well, but it shows up everytime I refresh or go to a new thread....very annoying.

    Thanks everyone.

I'm not sure what is up this morning, I know I have made no changes.

I also know Google wants all websites to convert to https:// as opposed to http:// but this may be unrelated.

I had planned to work on that in April.

I am looking at change logs right now, thanks again.

The only data the site looks for is if you are (or are not) logged in. Mainly this is so you can post and so you can click Nu2u to bypass previously read posts.

    I'm looking into the situation.

    Sorry for your troubles

Yep. I have Avast mobile on two Android phones and both are saying the same thing. Rage page has been reported as a phishing site. So the question is, Who reported this site?

My guess would be one of those nutered mutes up north. Prolly angry that his job as a Wikipedia admin isn't paying enough. Haha.

Turbine you might want to check recent post to see if someone has linked a site that google has flagged.
