He's an electric runner with plus actions, and a bat that plays well from both sides of the plate. We couldn't be more excited about Hayden's future at Louisiana."

Very similar, except Hayden might have a few more tools than Ryan.

He was really good and he's in AA, but I don't remember Ryan running like his cap was on fire.

I was speaking more of the intangibles of being a QB on really good teams and having leadership qualities that tend to come with being QB.

Yep, I agree. Cantrelle was a WR his junior year (4.5/40) but played QB his senior year at Teurlings.

Ryan Leonards was state of Louisiana's "Mr Baseball". MVP as QB in football state championship. A few months later, Notre Dame won the baseball state championship. All State in both sports. Pretty decent Curriculum Vitae.

I was thinking of his "waterhose" makeup too. Successful sub 6' QB's are invaluable lockerroom guys. They have "want to" for days and it rubs off.

Cantrelle will be one of those Greg Fontenot/Blake Trahan types. He will start at SS on day one and be a fan favorite for as many years as he's he. Dude is a player.

There is a Grand Canyon between BT and Fontenot. As ball players and more importantly, as men. I'll leave it at that.

I hope young Hayden is half the man and ballplayer that BT was for us.
