    Bad news Bears.

Error by Kasuls was costly. He has had a very bad day at the plate and now in the field.

    It's a circus out there. A 3 base error.

    This is a mess

Let's not give up a third run on a wild pitch.

    Armstrong deserves better this inning.

But it may be time for someone else

Bullpen is junk today ..must be the weather

This is tough to watch. Especially with a highly regarded bull pen that struggles to throw strikes in the late innings. Now the errors today have been bad, but 6 or 7 walks, wild pitches, it's just sloppy. We need a big crack of lightning to end this thing in a tie. Neither team really deserves this one.

This game definitely is matching the weather - miserable... We keep giving runs away!

I also understand that college baseball starters throw once a week because of the way the schedule sets up with weekend series. But it would be a one time thing to get him into the weekend rotation

I appreciate your posts and respect your opinion.
Re: 4 days' rest ... yes, we have differing opinions ... not with college pitchers. You get tired arms late in the year when they are getting the full 7 days' rest. And you get injuries when coaches attempt to throw their top guy midweek (5 or 6) and then come back on the weekend.

Well it's 6 days rest, but I get your point. I just don't think it would be anything to get worked up about with Harris throwing Tuesday and Sunday next week, unless he throws a ton of pitches Tuesday.

But all of that is for later. We need to find a way to win this one.

So that we are speaking the same language ... when you say X days rest, you are counting the days when the pitcher is not throwing in a game. Thus, throwing on a Tuesday and then on the following Sunday would have Wednesday (1), Thursday (2), Friday (3), and Saturday (4) as rest days ... hence 4 days rest.

Let's win this in the B9th and give USM a long late bus ride home.
