I don't know, but you're the one throwing out biased opinions then using biased opinions to push the narrative you want.

Truthfully no one here knows what the outside basketball world thinks bc in the big picture, both programs are irrelevant.

I'm not pushing a narrative a team that has recently been in the top 25 will be perceived as better than one who hasn't unless of course you are biased...they have been...we haven't been. People who aren't biased should perceive them as a better program...because they are.

I wonder if we could leverage baseball for this? Bab had commented that Rice and Houston wants us to play them in baseball so why don't we say sure if you'll play us in basketball.

I can guarantee you we have that much leverage with NMSU. They are desperate for football games, and I am sure we could leverage that into home and home for hoops with a consistent top 100 RPI team. And we can probably get them to arrange a twofer for us to play UTEP or UNM when we go there.

I'm saying if the bar is being ranked, the entire SBC is behind the curve.
