Who was the little guy who claimed Tony hit him twice in 2014?
He was already trying to rile his guys up with the top of the 8th coming up. I get like it was planned. Even after he got rung, he was clapping and yelling at his bench. On the other note of the umpire at home, he was very consistent on both sides, didn't like the inside call, only though he missed the tag by handsome. Thought the guy slide touched home either before he got tagged if he even got tagged. Had a good angle and looked like he missed the runner
After the game police actually got between umps and s miss. They didnt make friends with this crew last night. Cant remember the last time ive seen that much jawing between a team and a crew.
I don't get where the post game attack on the umps pays a dividend. You still have the weekend series to complete, and you aren't stoking your team at that point. Did USM think these umps were homers for UL? They sure need to do some research if they think that. And if they were paying attention, they'd definitely see that the calls behind the plate were evenly wrong or right for both teams.
Am I the only one who thought D-MO's last strike was outside?
The concourse was clean and functional. The bathrooms were spacious. The concessions were operational.
There was beer.
Was that the Texas Tech "they thought it was 3 outs and all ran off the field and the runner that was on base from UL scored and somehow the umps called him back to the base and Tech got to come out, position their defense again and play with 2 outs and we didn't get our run that probably would have won the game?" You know, that old gem.
