The stadium and atmosphere was absolutely top notch. We looked like a top 20 team tonight too. Played very well. What a win!

I was at the game but was keeping a close watch on my 6 month old..

Am I crazy, or was there much less of the sound effects than usual? (Homer Simpson, etc)

Also - one of their coaches was yapping with the umps all the way the right field foul line after the game. Looked pretty heated.

Strike zone was a bit inconsistent for both sides, but I thought they got the big calls right... specifically the play where they threw out Pinny at 3rd and the play Robbins gunned down their runner at home.

I'm guessing after USM got out of the bases loaded jam and their catcher spiked the ball, their players were yapping and probably were told something by one of the umps which their coach that got tossed took issue with.

Looking forward tomorrow... Let's take game 2 also!

I saw several USM players intensely questioning blue on strike outs. Thought that was a no no Number 32 complained two times in a row.

The new stadium was incredible. I got to say hi to our new AD. What a beautiful night in an excellent venue for baseball.

--I think he is still undefeated as an AD!!! -----also I( think he had to be overwhelmed with tonight---for the record, I looked up Missou's attendance and they average less than 1K per game---add the people with the atmosphere and it was so very cool! I was the dude collecting the hard (SOFT) hats after the game ----- Any ideas on what to do with these-----need a coach Robe auto-G on one for the office!!!

Looked like every fly ball to the outfield was an adventure. I think players on both teams had problems judging the ball off the bat. That could be a huge advantage for our guys after our outfielders get used to that with other teams having to adjust...
