D. J. is working on her third Sun Belt Player of the Week award in a row as she hits 2 solo home runs in the 8-0 run rule of Alcorn State. Daniella Chavez joined her with 1 of her own.
Nice
Solo shots by Kara and Lexie lead the Cajuns to an 8-2 victory over North Dakota State.

I'm pretty sure DJ has locked up Sun Belt Player of the Week honors again. 4 home runs in 4 games so far this weekend and 2 games left. Cajuns defeat North Dakota State, 15-0 in 5, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 8-0 in 6.
Ok, I stand corrected. It looks like Lexie Comeaux may have surpassed DJ with the same number of home runs (4) but with 11 RBIs compared to 5. Cajuns lambast Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 18-0.
Comeaux is swinging a cypress tree. Im guessing no book on her right now...
Another hr for comeaux. It is now a redwood she is swinging
Just looked at the box score. The Cajuns actually trailed Alcorn 4-3 at one point before putting up 7 in so far in the 3rd.
I wish we could get better competition to come for our tournaments. I'm pretty sure these teams may help our RPI late in the year.
Cajuns score 11 in the 3rd, finish Alcorn off in 5, 14-4. With 6 home runs and 15 RBIs on the weekend, Lexie Comeaux should easily get SBC Player of the Week honors.
Another Lexie? UL's Lexie Comeaux has more HR in the past 48 hours (6) than 100-plus Division I teams had entering the weekend.
