Also notable that while we had WAYYY too many strikeouts, we also had more good ABs tonight than any game so far. We have a LONG way to go but that is encouraging

I don't know if you noticed a trend starting to happen. We won 1-0... and now 2-0. I believe we are going to win every game from here on out as a shutout with one additional run per game. I feel pretty confident making this prognostication. It's math guys. Math.

Great defense tonight

Dan Mac. said that it was hard to believe that SHU didn't score and run. He put it one the good pitching. Pitching was good, but the defense won that game. Fontenot saved runs with is acrobatics in left field.

SLU earned a nice win at Rice tonight, 8-4 ... after defeating Tulane midweek.
