Its all about hitting approach. You do not throw a fastball to a Deggs coached team on the 1st pitch. They know how to drive a fastball to all parts of the field. The past 2 years, we watch way to many fastballs early in the count. That leads to being behind in the count and it gives the pitcher all the control.

Robe knows this because that is what he teaches his pitchers. Get ahead and stay ahead.
