For those not aware, the complete infield including the mound is all field turf, with the outfield being all natural grass.
Amos is correct. It's just the infield. They cut the grass to match the design on the turf though. So yea, a soaked outfield could pose some problems. I never understood why anyone would only do turf on half their field. This isn't rec league softball. You either pay for the whole field or you don't do it at all. Such a waste.
