Robe was talking about hitting tight. Well the same is going to go for pitching if we cannot consistently score runs. Pitchers will tighten knowing that if they give up 1 or 2 runs, there is a very good chance they will lose. When that happens, here comes the big innings for the opposing team.

I don't know if this is completely accurate but it seemed like with Deggs, players had a role on the team and they knew what to do when they got up to the plate. The guys are now just swinging wildly.
