2 on, no outs. Predicatable results. That's enough of the garbage, guys.

Did they not get the throwdown memo? It went out two days ago.

That's about right. 7 free base runners and 3 hits. Teams love of our bull pen arms.

Play the chip away game now.

Should have won this one before it got to the 14th. The play of the game was Braud's diving catch of the liner that doubled up Jam at 2nd.

After the subsequent @$$ whooping in the nightcap - even using less experienced arms - it is GUT CHECK time. South Alabama this weekend.

I think some were saying they would be happy with 4-2. At this point, I'd be thrilled with 4-2. Let's get 'em! One at a time.

I have been saying for a few days now that the team we see on weekends is different than the one we see in mid-week. The numbers bear that out. Let's count the completion of the extra inning game as a weekend affair as it was supposed to be the season opener. With that in mind, the weekend record is 12 and 6 while the weekday record is 2 and 5. At this stage, it almost means the weekdays are exhibitions as RPI is too high to move it down much in remaining games. Winning either the conference regular season title or tournament is needed to get to post season. Fortunately, when Gunner takes the mound he causes the team behind him to be focused. I bet that occurs Friday night.

Maybe if we get embarrassed enough the mommas will stop hanging around the dugout and the daddys will drop the equipment bags.

Hopefully Robe called a practice and told them gloves, bats, and balls need to stay in the locker room. And...since we don't like to get on base, flip-flops are allowed this weekend.

I listened to Bab on the radio mid-February. He said the bench was so deep there were a dozen guys that deserved to start.

    It's a head scratcher.

In 2009 and 2012, Robe often used the word soft when describing the team. Its his eloquent way of saying "We are a bunch of fn pu$sies." He has been pretty cranky the last couple of weeks. Those at the DC meeting last week could feel his frustration in the delivery of his discussion. It carried over to the presser that went viral. I predict he is going to start calling this team soft (pu$sies) VERY soon.

As a persistent DC attender, I can back this statement up.
