Yes, as an at large team, with an RPI at least 60 positions better than any Brodhead team has yet achieved. Were it possible for that team to play Brodhead's best squad 10 times, Hall's girls would win all 10.

J Kelley Hall regretted ever leaving Louisiana. He took that regret to the grave.

If Brodhead could have taken over from JKH, there's no telling where this program would be today.

"J. Kelly Hall (born January 13, 1959) is the head women's basketball coach at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to coaching at Cincinnati, he was a top level assistant at various other schools. He served as the head women's basketball coach at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette from 2002 to 2007. From 2000 to 2002, he served as the associate head coach at the University of Louisville, as well as their recruiting coordinator.
He also served as an assistant coach at Auburn University, Cal State Fullerton, Mississippi State University, University of Alabama, and Troy State University. He has guided his teams to six NCAA tournament appearances, one WNIT appearance, and has coached six all-Americans. As a head coach, he has posted a 290-118 (.711) record. He completely transformed a struggling Louisiana-Lafayette program, and posted a 65-28 record over his final seasons there.
In 2006, he guided Louisiana-Lafayette to a 25-9 record, and a Sun Belt Conference regular season championship."
