Absolute fact. Someone at ESPN is doing this deliberately. I think it's a low level person. If ESPN had these kind of failures of any other variety on a regular basis... 3 big shots would be fired. It's a low level clown doing this... and it is either not being caught by the management... figured by management to purely be an isolated mistake by the clown... or they know the clown does it and they just don't care. But this is not a habitual accident by ESPN.

Good points... So it isnt the message its the messenger? If i say those things im tinfoil, but if u say it its an aha moment. Now same with new AD, he says it and its magically fixed? Hope its fixed but still makes no sense, it shouldnt take money or being in the inside

Whether it is is "handled" or not the big difference is that someone within the athletic dept. made a public statement about it and what they did. Communication!

Now I don't think the A.D. has to be the one to communicate all the time with the general public but somebody within the organization has to and that wasn't happening. I think most people can take some bad news. At least you know. It s leaving people in a vacuum that has been the problem. Good start for our new A.D.

Like every other business, sometimes having contacts that you have dealt with in the past helps move the ball along. In this case, it may very well be that Bryan Maggard has several people he has dealt with directly at ESPN while at Missouri. This is more common at P5 programs that at the lower levels of the G5.

My thoughts exactly. First, the motive to take action, second, the knowledge of who to speak to to correct it, third, the transparency of it all.

I don't understand what you're saying (tinfoil and aha). As for the AD... I don't think he "fixed it". He addressed it in a way I think gives him the ability to step it up if it happens again. And no matter how we "feel" things "should be"... they are the way they are... until forces much greater than us change them.
