I remember the Tennessee loss in the NIT back in the 80's. I don't remember a late loss to Jacksonville with either a half court shot or collapse. By the way I remembered another last second three to win a game. It was a shot by Jay Wright to beat Sam Houston on the road in the second round of the CIT. That was in 2015.

It's our own doing...no one notice we never wear uniforms with Louisiana against them, always put "Cajuns" on the scoreboard when it says Louisiana against everyone else....

They want change. Their scoreboard said ULL.....Good question to ask Marlin, "why are you not wearing the Louisiana uniforms, home and away, when playing UL-M"?

I listened to the ULM coach interview online and he said missed FT in the last 5 minutes kept them from putting the game out of reach.

On the topic of Maggard's comment, I have no idea what he and his staff can do with those ________s at ESPN, but it's refreshing to know that someone will at least make the effort.

I think ESPN occasionally substitutes that Lafayette Leopard logo for ours for giggles, because of all the calls/emails they have gotten over the years from us and ULM fans to call us/don't call us Louisiana.

I can understand not wearing Louisiana uniforms in Monroe due to the heavy fire ULM's president is receiving in the press over the compromise he reached with Dr. Savoie. But I don't understand why we don't wear them everywhere else if we want that name identified with us in the media.

While ESPN is our biggest problem with name recognition, I would also suggest looking into the following:

1. Why did we not wear Louisiana "away" jerseys to play ULM?
2. Why did ULM refer to us as UL L given the conference directive?
3. Why does Alabama's athletic website (and Tuscaloosa newspaper) still refer to us as Louisiana Lafayette, especially given Coach Murphy's connection to UL?
4. Just what has our athletic department been doing to promote Louisiana outside of simply our use of the name?

In regards to #1 and #2 just drop it. No one cares outside of Monroe what they do or how they act.

Absolutely no doubt they are ____ing with us. Nobody that successful is simultaneously that incompetent.
