Students seeking admission to University of Louisiana System schools in fall 2011 will have to meet tougher standards but they're still lower than LSU.
In testifying before a joint House and Senate Education Committee on Wednesday, ULS President Randy Moffett said the new requirements could keep some applicants from entering the four-year universities. But they can get basics and improve their chances of admission by entering community colleges and then transferring in the future.
