Is there an online replay broadcast of this available anywhere? Any answers? Optimistic? Any changes in approach?

    RECAP:

Timing was off on fastballs first two games. Much better in SLU game but still underneath the ball.

Talbot gave great, inspiring pregame talk on bus to the team yesterday but didn't help to calm them down.

No baseball activities today by default NCAA rules. But also felt like they needed the day off to giving them a break since it is a mental issue. Come back tomorrow at 11 for the bus to SHSU

First time he's ever seen where slow start affected whole team. Last year a few guys like Trosclair started slow but others helped pick up

Players met as a group last night after and a few were animated. Leaders are trying to show some passion and get it turned around.

Showed flashes in the SLU game getting some critical hits and key outs, but there was nothing to show for it since it wasn't finished/win. So felt like nothing changed going into Nicholls.

Moved to 3rd base to switch it up/superstition last night. Nothing from Robe or that will necessarily stay. Will talk to JT to see what they want to do this weekend.

Strikeouts, weak swings, and timidness is the most worrying thing right now. Hoping that them having the day off will help reset. Having the pitching and defense keep us in every day doesn't mean we should need a shut out. The hitters can't keep putting the pressure on the pitching. Right now it's not fair on them to be perfect every night.

Spears has been having best practice at bats all spring. That's why he went out yesterday. Wanted to try and hold him back with older hitters ahead of him, but with the way it was going they needed a spark and he'd earned the start. Thought he had some of the best at bats last night.

He also started the interview stating he is disappointed and surprised with the offensive start. He expected a hot start from the offense this year.

He is optimistic that it will get turned around.
