    8 Robbins

    7 Fontenot
    DH Lott
    2 Monica
    9 Sensley
    3 Pinero
    6 Antchak
    5 Poncho

    Weekend Rotation:
    Friday Leger
    Saturday Lee
    Sunday Guillory

1st out the Pen: Marks (long relief), C. Lee (hold em), Harris and Huval (situational)
    D-Mo to shut the door
I think that line-up will be accurate for many games with Stover and Sensley rotating based on pitching. Kasuls and Antchak will do the same. As far as weekend rotation switch Guillory for Schmidt and you got it in my opinion. Guilllory will be midweek starter again.

It's tough to balance starts with this team, but in a good way for sure. If Joe plays CF, I don't know that Poncho would necessarily be up next. I think first move would be to get Pinero on that corner, then it's whether Brenn is ready for 1B or put Stover there. Stover started more at 1B when at Kansas State than he did in the OF so I don't think that's too much of a stretch (though was more DH than either.) I think he can be really valuable and is a guy that many might forget about. He batted near .300 in about a half season's worth of games at K-State.

I think the guys that are must starts are Brenn, Sensley, Robbins and probably Monica though you'd like to relieve him more than we did with Thurm. You could maybe say Pinero, Fontenot are in that next group and of course Antchak or Kasuls and the rest are plug and play based on matchup. And a guy like Lott will probably be there more often than not depending on what kind of start he gets off to
Good point on Stover at 1B. I would think Poncho would be next up at 3B after Robbins based on how Bab was talking about him at 3B today on the radio.

We have depth, which means we can play whoever is hot at whatever time. I can't wait to see how it all shakes out.

Coach Rob stated Jam is seeing the ball much better after he had his vision corrected. He was in denial, didn't want to admit he had vision problems.

I would use Jam as a pinch runner and/or double switch situations late in a game. This way he's doesn't have to hit his way on, he would likely get on base once a game, and you would have his speed in center and Robbins at 3rd late in the game for defensive purposes.

    Is jam healthy?

Like others, I've heard good things about Jam. Some
Believe he is ready to take a big step forward.

Hope I'm wrong but I'm starting to think Jam might be one of those people that struggle with getting it done in front of 4K people

I dont think 4K people have anything to do with it. I think he was a very athletic guy that they took a chance on. Big upside that if it pays off great, but at worst you have a threat on the bases in your back pocket if needed.

3 years the guy has killed it at practice with nobody watching...it doesn't translate to gameday. this isn't football, these kids grew up playing baseball in front of 25 parents...having 8k eyes on you while you are batting is a lot different.

I don't remember anyone ever saying he killed it in practice. I remember coach saying he was a project when he was first brought in. What maybe helping him this year is they've been working with him for two years now, as well as that he how has the ability to see properly.

He had a really good fall last year and it didn't quite carry over to the season. I think that is what he is referring to.
