Frank Bartley scored a career-high 31 points, highlighted by a 7-for-15 performance from behind the 3-point line, but D'Marcus Simonds hit a pair of free throws with 3.7 seconds remaining to lead Georgia State to an 85-82 victory over the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns in a Sun Belt Conference game on Saturday at GSU Sports Arena.

Why'd we need a valiant comeback?

    Too many non competitive halves.

Both posts in this thread are correct. Positive spin being put on outcome and poor first half determined outcome. Unfortunate in that Frank Bartley's career high results in loss. In fact I thought last shot might have come from him as I believe a cardinal rule of basketball is feed the hot hand. Also Bryce knee issue may prevent him from exploding to basket. I guess they figured there was a better chance of an offensive rebound with an inside shot and i think Roydell Brown almost got it. Defense seemed better with him in game in second half

I agree. I would like to see him get more minutes.
