I don't see the big lost of Gipson we were his biggest offer. So did we pull his offer was he going to qualify? I don't see McNeese stealing this kid from us. Anyone know the real scoop on this kid.

There is always some shuffling in the last weekend but remebet we did pick up a highly ranked player out of Mississippi and I'm sureally there will be some suprises at many schools between now and signing day
Hud has 4 schollys left... He better make them count
I am trying to look more positively at this class, especially the OL. In the past we have some huge but really overweight guys who were not as athletic as we would have liked. Many of these OL did not work out for us. This years OL group is a little different. These guys are leaner (Gardner 270, Rubio 250 and Vallot 295) and have intangibles that I feel are very important (Rubio is a powerlifter and Vallot is a wrestler). You might say we are recruiting whoever is left but maybe we have changed the way we are thinking about OL recruits. I am interested to see how these OL prospects develop and perform.
I noticed Spencer Gardner not only played basketball and baseball in high school, but also made all-state 1st team in baseball and all-district in basketball.
I think any "big guy" can play high school basketball because at that level your size gives you a huge advantage, but baseball takes a lot more timing and coordination. He may be one to watch in the next few years.
