Stove is coming off bench. Jerekius davis is starting in his place. I like this decision
19-5 cajuns
10:50 first half
34-20 Cajuns. 3:58 left in 1st
45-25 Half. Davis doing well!
45-25 at the half
I like the way Jerekius is playing. bartley is knocking down his shots, he has 16
Jerekius into the starting lineup is the way it needs to stay
Just watching online but Washington has a noticeable limp and it looks like some kind of brace on his right ankle.
We are trying to give them this game
Cajuns go ice cold at end of game and almost blow a 22 point lead!!!
Little Rock 82
Louisiana 88
FINAL
UL 0 FG's in last 4:39 of game
High School officials did not help at all. Very inconsistent Decapitation were let go, but bumps 40 feet from basket were called
Cajuns make their last eight free throws to help them hold on. They deserve credit for coming through in the clutch. As disappointed as we are with the way the game ended, the guys deserve credit for playing a complete game until that point. Note 6 guys were in double figures, they had lots of assists, and they outrebounded the Trojans handily despite Washington sitting out the end of the game. Agree officials aided the Trojan comeback. For example a ridiculous jump ball was called when Stove had the ball corraled with 5 seconds to go rather than an obvious foul. As the Trojans had the possession arrow, that allowed a 9 point game to become the 6 point final margin. Still the problems the Cajuns had with the press and trap late are a concern. Bryce Washington did not play the last eight minutes due to sore knees and it is obvious they missed his leadership and team guidance. If he is not good to go on Monday night, they will have little chance to be successful as Ark. State is a much better team than Little Rock. Still, 14 an 7 at this stage is better than most of us would have predicted back in the summer. That does not mean finishing poor here won't be disappointing. Let's hope the treatment Bryce gets tomorrow will allow him to go all out on Monday night.
I "enjoyed" the head butt, blood drawing no call these idiots didn't call.
