The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team continues its 10-match homestand on Saturday when it plays host to NAIA national runner-up Xavier (La.) in a pair of matches at Cajun Courts.

First serve is set for 10 a.m., with the second match scheduled for 2 p.m. Admission to all Ragin' Cajuns tennis matches is free. Live results of both matches will be available at www.CajunStats.com.

Louisiana (5-2) opened its home schedule last week with a pair of wins over Jackson State (7-0, 6-1) and Alcorn State (4-0, 4-0). Freshman Jamie Fraser, who has won a team-high four dual matches this season, picked up a pair of straight-set victories last Saturday against Jackson State before picking up a 6-0, 6-1 victory on Sunday against Alcorn State.

The freshman tandem of Pearse Dolan and Elio Lago each improved to 3-0 overall in singles play this spring with returning players Arthur Libaud and Eric Perez each recording their third singles wins.

Dolan and Vlad Kramarov have paced the Ragin' Cajuns at No. 1 doubles, posting a 5-1 record and helping Louisiana to a 14-3 mark in seven dual matches. Fraser and Libaud have posted a 4-1 record in doubles play for Louisiana with Perez and Coleman Wahlborg earning a pair of victories at No. 2 doubles.

Xavier, which finished 17-8 last season, opens its season ranked No. 2 in the nation. Karan Salwan, ranked No. 3 nationally in the NAIA Single's Rankings, is one of three returners for the Gold Rush, who also return veterans Adam Albrecht and Tushar Mandlekar.
