Men's Tennis used to play a great schedule. But, talk about padding your schedule.

2 matches vs. Prairie View A&M
    UT Rio Valley State
    2 matches vs. Xavier
    2 matches vs. Jackson State
    2 matches vs. Alcorn State
    Florida A&M
    Texas A&M Corpus Christi
    Incarnate Word

The above makes up half of our schedule. We only have 1 conference match vs. Georgia State.

Houston they still do play a tough schedule.

    21 Florida State
    14 Texas A&M CC
    49 Harvard
    26 Rice
    62 Georgia Stae

to name a few really good teams on our schedule.

Really such outrage about a sport that's lucky to have fans in the stands. Two years ago I was the only non tennis connected fan in NOLA SBC tennis championships. While Marlin and the rest of the SBC coaches pad their collective non conference resume.

I agree that those 5 are good programs, but that is only 5 out of 22 teams. Any idea why we only play GA State in conference plus the conference tournament? What other schools play tennis in the SBC and why don't we play them?
