In Bradshaw days anyone could go to any Louisiana college with a high school diploma. GED weren't even a thing then. When asked why'd he go to LTUR instead of LSU he mumbled something about grades. Grades wasn't a factor. LSU even offered remedial back then.

Who ever the coach is that flipped his commit should have a statue erected in his honor at Tech. Sam is from NI. I have spent time in NI, Lafayette and Ruston. If you can convince some one with an opportunity to spend 2 years in either Lafayette or Ruston to choose Ruston that is as significant as mosses parting the sea. They couldn't have brought him to the actual Ruston la. No way that's possible.
