No need to pass the ACT to go to usl....that's why you are playing Ole Miss next year....it's called the ACT Bowl...the only way you get a bid to the game is to cheat on the ACT test and egt put on probation!!!!!
Who ever the coach is that flipped his commit should have a statue erected in his honor at Tech. Sam is from NI. I have spent time in NI, Lafayette and Ruston. If you can convince some one with an opportunity to spend 2 years in either Lafayette or Ruston to choose Ruston that is as significant as mosses parting the sea. They couldn't have brought him to the actual Ruston la. No way that's possible.
Is this a weather forecast for Signing Day?
I'm signing in the rain
Just signing in the rain
What a glorious feelin'
I'm happy again
I'm laughing at clouds
So dark up above
The sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love
Let the stormy clouds chase
Everyone from the place
Come on with the rain
I've a smile on my face
I walk down the lane
With a happy refrain
Just signin',
Signin' in the rain
Not sure he "mumbled" about it. In his autobiography, "It's Only a Game," he lays it out there pretty clearly:
"Just about everybody I knew ---as well as a lot of people I didn't know---wanted me to go to LSU. I didn't know how to tell them I didn't feel comfortable in Baton Rouge, so I purposely flunked the entrance exam. I never much liked people who make excuses for their failures. I am not claiming I could have passed that exam easily if I had wanted to go to LSU. I'll never know if I could have passed it; I know I didn't study for it, I didn't care about it, and I definitely didn't want to go to LSU. And I definitely didn't pass the test."
He talks about his lack of self confidence and for an 18 year old kid, that pressure of "why don't you go to LSU" had to be pretty tough to deal with. Instead of just saying, "I don't want to. I don't like LSU" he threw the entrance exam to avoid the question. Knowing TB's presence today, and all that he achieved in the NFL, it's hard to believe these are the same person...but hey, we each come into our own in time, I guess.
Ruston...ie TECH is by far a much better community, school and football program than anything usl or crime ridden lafayette could offer...the University really takes care of their students on an individual basis....not like usl where you graduate with honors and the head of thedepartment doesn't even know who you are...if in doubt about the football program just check out the last two football meetings or the 5 before that....enough said....sorry...Ruston isn't on probation either....you thug cheaters....
