Thread: Louisiana at UTA

    Our OOC schedule gave us a false sense of how good we are and seems like the more tape people get on us the worse we look. There is a blue print out on how to beat us and we don't adjust.

    WOW. Was in class til 9:30 and forgot they played tonight. WOW. Glad I forgot. WOW. I would have expected this against Kentucky. But, UTA? WOW.

    Getting spanked giving up 100 once is a fluke. Twice is a pattern. Both cases and the second half against Southern we physically got taken to the woodshed.

    This is not a surprise. I was at the St. Mary's - UTA game where UTA beat the #12 ranked team in the country on their home floor. And it wasn't even as close as the score would have implied.
    I told a buddy of mine (SMC graduate) that if UTA and SMC teams played 10 times, UTA would have won 9 of them. They were just at another level athletically.
    I knew the Cajuns had very little chance in this game. Maybe we can get them on a neutral site, but it is going to be tough.

    .@bobbymarlin on the tough loss to UT-Arlington, "It was one of those games where everything went their way, and they had their day."

    One thing that stands out to me is how poorly Bartley is playing. He is our leading scorer but right now he does not look like a top 5 player on the team. He has to step up his game.

    Man, I had a crazy dream last night about our basketball team. We weren't playing Duke, UNC, or Kentucky. We were playing another SBC team and lost by 37 points!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ``````I think we now have the closest thing that I have seen in years to a real 3 point range shooter in Handy----we seem to get STUFFED so much inside on penetrations when we force the shot----when we give it up say to Bryce, it is a thing of beauty----if we could kick it out to Handy for the 3, it could becomes a needed part of our attack plan----the teams that have stopped him have had a guy assigned to him in close range to him defensively ---- the bad part is that it takes Handy out but opens up some lane area----post season high expectations are now left to the conference Tourney----post season of any kind left to how we finish conference play and the Tourney!!!!
