Not sure what video you watched but Harrison and JD are much closer comparison than Ray and Harrison. KH and JD are both better passers than Ray by a long shot. I am sure you meant Davis when you said Ray.

He is, but with way more passing and starting experience than Davis. That is also something people seem to forget.

His hudl shows him to be much more of a polished passer than JD. That's why I predict he will be the starter. I realize that's going out on a limb.
