    I hope his first play with the ball...is anything but right up the friggin middle. He might have tears in his eyes.

    No no no no, he will be getting coached by NFL Assistants who actually understand the game of football. No more will he have to run plays for a guy who I am sure was the kid in preschool in the corner trying to shove the square peg in the round hole.

    Fact. There are collegiate coaches that are just as "football intelligent" as any NFL coach. I think the main attribute that separates NFL coaches and collegiate football coaches... are that NFL coaches have the ability to manage a billionaire owner and a bunch of millionaire football players. College coaches require being able to dominate the athletes (and be able to manage pretty much a 4 year cycle of athletes). Not that dominating the athletes is as easy as it used to be. But that attribute of the coaches is the bigger difference in the overall football coaching abilities. Not their football IQ.

    But by studying Eli... size and athletic gifts... just about any decent coach would know that he doesn't belong being pounded between the tackles.
