    2014

    rush att: 548
    pass att: 370

    2013

    rush att: 564
    pass att: 319

..and those numbers should have been even more skewed towards the run as I thought TB didn't keep it near enough on the read.

To seek balance with a zone read or a traditional option attack is silly.
Isnt the zone read a running play and qb reads the DE to either handoff or keep? RPO gives the passing option.
And the spread option offense is usually more run-oriented?

I would love to see us be capable enough to flip the attempts from 2014.

Pass it 550 times and rush it 375 times.

At this point, I really don't care what we do, as long as we do it really well. This mish-mash hybrid offense we've been trying to run since Broadway year 2, and ESPECIALLY post-Broadway is for the birds.

    2013: 2,759 pass yards
    2,659 rush yards

    2014: 2,494 pass yards
    2,925 rush yards

Is that not a semblance of balance, especially 2013. 2014 started the trend downward in our passing efficiency although we were at least capable of stretching teams in the passing game.

I only watched them twice. And they were very balanced. Just shows that they can adjust as needed.

The numbers I stated above showed they were not balanced. They ran the ball almost 80% of the time in an option offense that has very little variation in its formations and sets.

It's not a semblance of balance in attempts, we were very run heavy but obviously you are going to gain more yards on pass attempts... the fact the we outrushed our passing shows you we weren't very balanced either...it worked but we were run heavy.

I have no idea if what some on ragin pagin claim to be true about hud being gone after this season, but if that's true hire chip Kelly as off coordinator this year then take over after this season.

Lol man. No way be pay more for an OC than for the HC. Plus he would never come to a program of our stature.
