I felt Scottie had improved SOME but unfortunately his style didn't fit the pace our team plays at. We aren't built to play a post up game like last year.
Good luck Scottie, hope you find a program you fit in.

Sorry to hear this but with the transfers coming in, I think we all knew some attrition was inevitable. Is what it is. I thought he played well when he got playing time. Good luck to him
It's a shame players and coaches can't do a better job predetermining where they would be the best fit. Especially this guy with a college basketball coach in the family.
Had career high ten points vs. Nicholls State.
Third-year sophomore plans to transfer
Locker room is divided and is in shambles.
Marlin has lost control of the program.
Hud is also somehow at fault.
More will be leaving, this is only the beginning.
Hopefully he finds what he's looking for. The young man never made it about himself.
At the time he signed he was coming into a program built around one of the elite big men in college basketball. Getting to deleveop by battling with a player like Long and then having a chance to take over that role was probably one of the reasons he came here. Things just didn't work out that way.
The rotation always tightens up for conference play and he didn't make it into either game this past weekend. He has seen a guy like Miller come in and work his way in as starter as a Freshman and he is also seeing a guy like Gant everyday in practice knowing they will have the same amount of eligibility left. The kid just wants to play, who can blame him. It is a smart decision to leave now as he has already burned a redshirt year and will at least have the spring of his Junior year and a Senior year to play if he goes to a D1 School. With his family connections I'm sure he is heading somewhere that will be a good fit or he wouldn't be going.
