That is huge, as it will give us an opening round game against what is likely an overrated SEC or Big 10 school instead of a Kansas or Louisville.
    makes sense, thanks for clarifying

Just keep scheduling HS teams in pre conference or the worst teams in a good conference and if u don't win the SUN WORST u will never get to the BIG DANCE only the 3rd place tourney like last year....

James Madison is playing better now than when we played them. They beat Towson last night.

They have won their last 3, but one of those was non D1. They are 3-11 against D1 teams. Of course, every time they win it helps us.

Wisconsin wins tonight against Indiana. That's a good thing. They're 13/2.

It is no doubt good for Wisconsin, but it is RPI neutral for us. our OOR picked up a win and a loss.

    Today's RPI update:

    UTA: 33
    AState: 45
    Louisiana: 81
    GaSt: 117
    GaSo: 127
    USA: 205
    Little Rock: 228
    Coastal: 231
    Troy: 236
    Appy: 253
    ULM: 297
    TxSt: 323

As an aside: Our RPI would also be the third best in the WCC, behind Gonzaga and St. Mary's, but ahead of BYU.

Wouldn't have guessed the top RPI team in LA is Nicholls until I looked at their schedule. They have the number 6 non-conf SOS. The RPI will keep falling now of course in conference. Their OWP is pretty high (got an ok ACC team in BC, a great ACC team in FSU, a really good UCF, a WCC team in USD, Samford with a good record and our good record on there.) FSU is the only team to beat them worse than we did.

Texas Southern is another team we played with a good RPI, though they don't help us too much because their WP isn't great. Their RPI is top 60

    Minnesota as well helps obviously
