Nicholls State was ahead of us the other day but I am not sure where they are now. Their victory over Boston College which plays in the ACC (lost to Duke by 9 today) really helps them in RPI. The fact they are ahead of us shows the tool is not perfect when comparing teams. We beat Nicholls by 30 and would win at least 9 of ten against them. Their loss today with our win may make us tops in the state at this stage.

What number do you think we would be and how frequent do these numbers change is it a daily thing? Again thanks Mike

The teams we have already played went 5-7. While this is not good, it is actually about the same percentage as the record already in the books for our opponents. The wins by GaSt, Little Rock and GaSo will also help us later in the season. The AState loss will hurt us later.

I expect our RPI to remain about the same.

That number is from Warren Nolan, and is not official. The latest official NCAA number is not out yet; it usually comes out midmorning the day following games. Yesterday we were at 73. I expect that to remain more or less the same. It may change slightly, but I do not anticipate a number out of the 70's either way, although Nolan had us the same as NCAA did yesterday, and 82 is not a major stretch.
