Don't agree with either statement. Guice is not 240lbs.-250lbs backs like Lynch, he is more similar to Marshall Faulk with a second gear that can run away from defenders. Lynch never ran away from many, at any level.

Fournette is a unique physical talent, there aren't many kids coming out of college that are 6' feet plus and 235-pounds with 4.4 speed to run away from a defenders, over or through defenders. Now he may not have a long career in the NFL like Petterson, but he has similar ability of OJ Simpson, Chuck Muncie, Bo Jackson, Herschel Walker, Earl Campbell or Eric Dickerson. The list is very short over the past 30 plus years of college football. He is a freak athlete.

And if I remember right, coming out of college he was more slender and shifty. Kind of "morphed" into a big bruiser..

Lynch played above 215 since 2009 and did so his last three seasons. Below are his comments, just a few on his bulking up. But in any case, he never ran away from defenders the way Guice is doing right now. Marshall Faulk 5'10, 210 is a closer comp considering his breakaway speed.

He played at 215 with the Seahawks, he runs hard he isn't exceptionally big and never played at 240 or 250 was my initial reason for posting his weight.

No he didn't, it was well known throughout the NFL Lynch played above his listed weight on the roster. There are other stories if you want to look for them. He may not have played at 240 or 250, but 230 plus isn't that far off.

When it comes to colleges I never trust roster measurements, the NFL Combine is always different from what athletes are listed on college rosters. Elijah McGuire has never been 5'11 and neither is Guice.

So for the article you posted he got his weight up to 230, so previously he played at less than that. There are several articles quoting Pete carrol that he lost a lot of weight once he got to Seattle and his weight was way down from buffalo.

The guy that skulldug that Saints in the playoffs didn't look 215lbs. Saints players commented about his size and strength after that game. Now Pete Carroll has said a number of things, but look at the number of games he missed because of injuries, and tell me he came back in shape to play at 215lbs?He spent a number of weeks on the injury list and he came back in shape? Not buying anything Pete Carroll has said to anyone in the media.

Ok man whatever...you posted something inaccurate,it's ok he never played at 250lbs and apparently marshawn lynch's listed weight is the biggest conspiracy in the NFL. Every single listing says 215, articles saying his weight was down and even an article saying he go it up to 230...probably from 215. Jerome Bettis is what a 250lb RB looks like.

Yes, I said he weighed 240-250lbs! And I'm shocked he is listed at 215, in spite of a number of articles saying or suggesting he bulked up to help in battle through a season. And no, I don't care what Pete Carroll has said because of the number of articles that raise the question.

Marshawn Lynch is 5'11" and 215 pounds. Guice is the same size as him now.
