An undefeated W. Mich team had 3 teams breathing down their necks. Had Navy won out, we're probably seeing Navy in the Cotton Bowl. Troy was also in that conversation before they lost a second time.

I don't see it happening. And the more we keep getting FCS schools who come up to Sunbelt and take over our conference the least credible this conference looks. I don't care what anyone says, this conference football wise is a complete joke and the perception is worst.

We are trying, and we will succeed, in raising that ceiling. We are not the only SBC school doing this. Several others have made this decision as well.

Years ago, people like you never thought that the SBC would have 5 tie-ins, a nationally ranked program, and beat 2 other FBS conferences in CFP money. Same people never thought Louisiana could win more than 8 games, go to successive Bowls, and nearly double our athletic budget.
