Tech has established themselves as the clear #2 program in the state right now, but that's not really saying a lot.
We would give Navy all they could handle as well.

Absolutely. That was one of the worst played games I've seen in a while. A score on each series? C'mon.

It's not a battle cry for me. I want a change at HC now! I appreciate everything Hudspeth has done for the program. But as soon as we were put on NCAA sanctions I would have let him go.

I want to see a high octane offense here. I'm ok with winning games 45-38.

I would love to see that too. But.... next year they gonna roll out the same sad poorly coached lose to teams you should beat BS, and we will just have to take it. THEN, hopefully there is a change. So, im looking forward to 2018 and beyond.

Entering the LTUR game Navy lost to: USF, Temple, Air Force, & Army. Yeah, that's a top 25 program! If their helmets said North Texas they MIGHT be in the top 50. #25 my ___!

It's inexcusable. It's either our coaches are not working hard enough, or they can't coach. There's no wiggle room. Tech has nothing but coaching prowess over us. They're getting better athletes and they're teaching them well. It's inexcusable.

Hud needs to step it up immediately. While we load the bus up with excellence, we can't have the bus driver being a fired up mullet head.

It's the latter of the two, J1M.

I can't tell. But when a teacher can't teach... but is also in charge of recruiting students... they're lack of teaching skills bleeds over into a void of talent selecting skills... both on an individual basis... as well as a comprehensive system basis. A system of well taught balanced talent will destroy poorly taught teams even if they have superior talent at random positions.

And sadly for us, once you decline, you struggle even greater to acquire talent that aids in masking your deficiencies at teaching. Hud was warned when he edged out bad teams on route to bowl victories not to believe he or the program were all that good. He doesn't listen to critics. He even joined a few knot heads at UL in condemning critics. He likes the fat soft bubbly airhead fan. He and some UL derelicts believe the critical fan isn't the hot core of our football program. They're so wrong that it borders on criminal.

Soft supporters have never EVER helped a system in crisis get better. They enable a broken system to survive as long as it possibly can. They'll be there at the funeral, sobbing over the loss. But they'll never accept the fact that they actually killed the program. I am at the funeral as well. My eyes are not on the program coffin. My eyes are on the soft supporter. And I am not pleased.

These comments demonstrate that the AD hire is the critical one. This person needs to be able to tell when to support someone who has given you success in the past and when things have regressed and change is necessary.
