So you don't think the latech coaches point out what they did to us? The recruits just forgot?

If i were tech, there's one key thing I'd hammer home to recruits: player development. I was just looking at players in the NFL by college and tech has 14 currently on rosters. We have 2. The same amount as ulm. Let that sink in. if I'm a player, I want to go where I have the best shot to be a pro and that's not always being 3rd string at some p5 school. Tech is doing a phenomenal job at developing players and apparently were not.

Are we just not recruiting good enough players?

------Well of course they do---can tell you that there were many times I had to overcome a lot more BS than just that---hell, just this year, the locker room video will be in every recruits TV----the Bowl game--the 3 transfers---the baseball stadium and AD firing------Hey it is brutal salesmanship with sometimes all goes activity----So we sell what we got against what their inferior points may be-----Grades are tough against say a Tulane except in Engineering----Ltur is falling like a ton of bricks with its new lower ratings---and we are above USM----facilities we rule on present and future---Party and not get shot (LOL) we have it----Economy will soon be ours if not already----and a lot is personality Juluke ate our lunch and glad he is gone!!! and I think Hud is pretty damn good at closing the deal----not sure about the final dealings!!! lol

their wins included BOTTOM 10 teams in the country UTEP, Mass, Fla-I, and Rice (also S Car State which is not even a ranked division school---8 minus 5 = 3 wins

--and now S Miss whose wins included not in div Sav.St, UTEP, Rice, and Marshall---6-4 = 2 wins

You forget that 3 years ago we finished well ahead of Tech---these recruits well forgot when Tech last beat us and I AM NOT SAYING that they have ranked higher

---but just don't leave out how they got to their Bowl eligibility and the absolute showing that they (CUSA) are by far the worst conference in this country

-again we are closer to the MAC then CUSA is to the Belt!!!

Some game changing bad calls and maybe the Belt is 4-0 in Bowls!!! So these guys are facts---BE HAPPY that we are better than THEY as a conference!!!!

You do know that cusa finished ahead of us last year and they even finished ahead of the AAC the year before?! These things go in cycles. I would love to see the SBC finish ahead for a 4-5 year stretch but I doubt that's going to happen. We're losing a 9 win team this year and picking up another fcs team.

One year ahead of cusa isn't going to magically help recruiting all of the sudden.

And speaking of bowls, cusa could actually finish better than the SBC if they get the win over navy. #25 Navy and Memphis >>> ucf and Toledo. The rest of the teams - us, Ohio, eastern Michigan, Hawaii, Colorado state etc are all on the same level.

Memphis got spanked. WKU will beat Navy, they have an offense that will put Navy in a heap of trouble, but then again so did Houston and we all know how that ended up.
